I’ve been using Kamasan B800 barbed hooks. For these flies, I’m utilising barred rabbit zonker strips, which give the bodies a nice movement in the water. The underbody is made of straggle fritz, creating a full and vibrant silhouette, and I’ve added red straggle fritz as a throat hackle to provide that extra pop of colour.

 

To finish them off, I've secured chain link eyes onto the fly. This gives them the added weight they need to get down quickley I then apply a coat of UV resin to the head, which not only strengthens the entire assembly but also gives it a polished, durable finish.
