These Tiny buzzers/ midgets/ Chironomid flies inhabit lakes and slow-flowing rivers. They appear in vast swarms on most still-waters.

A very slow figure-of-eight retrieve is normally best;

Can be fished with a sight indicator or large dryfly; which helps when exploring different depths.
